Go/No-Go Task
System Requirements
Minimum: 800×600
Recommended: 1280×800
Description
A continuous performance task measuring sustained attention and response inhibition. Participants respond to frequent target stimuli (Go trials) while withholding responses to rare non-target stimuli (No-Go trials).
About This Test
Participants monitor a stream of stimuli (typically letters P and R) and respond quickly to one target stimulus while inhibiting responses to the other. The task includes practice trials followed by test blocks with varying target frequencies (frequent vs. rare) to assess response inhibition under different conditions.

Data Output
Creates multiple data files in data and data/subnum folders: (1) gonogo-<subnum>.csv with trial-by-trial data containing columns: subnum, block (practice/test and block number), type (P or R target type), correctresponse (correct response for this trial), trial (trial number), choice (response option), x and y (stimulus position), stim (stimulus presented), present (1=target present, 0=absent), response (keyboard/mouse response; NONE if no response), responded (1=responded, 0=timeout), starttime (trial start time in ms), rt (response time in ms; timeout duration if responded=0); (2) gonogo-summary-<subnum>.txt containing aggregated statistics by condition including total correct, total errors, mean accuracy, and RT statistics (median, mean, SD) separated by round and condition (P vs R); (3) gonogo-pooled.csv with all trials pooled across subjects; (4) gonogo-log.csv with session log; (5) gonogo-all.csv with summary statistics. Note: Practice trials should be filtered out (block='practice'). RT analysis should exclude rows where responded=0 (these are timeouts).
